01
Confirm the legal and trading identity
Names and addresses should be consistent across the information supplied to you.
- Registered company name and trading name
- Registration and tax information where available
- Bank beneficiary name and quotation identity
- Business email, phone, website and address consistency
02
Check the operating location
A registered address does not by itself prove manufacturing capability.
- Facility address and map consistency
- Current exterior and interior evidence
- Production areas relevant to your product
- Whether production appears in-house or subcontracted
03
Test capability claims
Ask for evidence connected to the exact product and process you intend to purchase.
- Relevant machinery, tooling and capacity
- Comparable product evidence
- Quality-control methods and measuring equipment
- Material, production and traceability records
04
Escalate when the risk justifies it
Remote verification is a first layer. Use an on-site factory visit when physical capability, current production or order status needs independent observation.
